Current Probate Fees
The fee for applications for a grant of probate in England and Wales is £300 for all applicants (both professional and personal) where the value of the estate exceeds £5,000. This single fee structure is applicable to all applications received by the Probate Registry.
Fees for Copies of the Grant
The fee for each additional copy of the grant of probate is £3.00 per copy.
No Fee for Small Estates
No fee is payable for estates valued at £5,000 or less.
