Well done to Mr Geoffrey Kamworor who won the World Half Marathon in Cardiff despite a nasty fall at the start and taking the brunt of ferocious gales that battered Cardiff Bay.

Kamworor ran the 13:1 mile course in a staggering 59.10. Mo Farah came in third with a time 59:59. Mo Farah said aftre the race that this was his toughest race.

Cardiff did an excellent job of hosting this international event and we look forward to the Cardiff Half Marathon in October.
